Register as a Local Coordinator

To finalise your registration and to become a Local Coordinator, you will need to complete the below video training. This video will provide you with the information you need to confidently facilitate Heart Foundation Walking in your area. The training will take you approximately 15-20 minutes. You will learn about:

Your role and responsibilities as a Local Coordinator.
Support and resources you’ll receive from the Heart Foundation.
Your personal online dashboard.

I acknowledge my role as Local Coordinator helps the Heart Foundation meet its goal that more Australians will be more active, more often, through walking. *

I understand the following key responsibilities and will fulfil these to the best of my ability: *

Recruit new volunteer Walk Organisers and Walkers in your area
Train or assist Walk Organisers to complete training, as required
Promote Heart Foundation Walking within your local area, organisation and networks
Be the point of contact for the program in your area and keep the Heart Foundation informed
Support existing walking groups in your area

I agree to acknowledge Heart Foundation Walking and apply the correct branding guidelines, when producing promotional materials and using any templates provided. *

I acknowledge my responsibility to inform Heart Foundation Walking of any changes to my contact details or if I leave my current employment / organisation, so that a replacement Local Coordinator can be found. *

I understand I must notify Heart Foundation Walking if my organisation undergoes a restructure or ownership is transferred to another organisation *

I can communicate well with people from all walks of life. As a representative of the Heart Foundation, I will treat everyone equally, with respect and to be inclusive of all. *
