Terms & Conditions – QLD Neighbourhood and Community Centres competition 2023

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. You are providing your information to the National Heart Foundation of Australia ABN 98 008 419 761 (Heart Foundation) and not to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. By participating in this promotion, you agree to a complete release of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram from any claims. Participation in this promotion is subject to the QLD Neighbourhood and Community Centres competition 2023 Details of Participation. 

Any entrant found to be creating multiple Walker registrations in order to increase the likelihood of winning will be disqualified.

Details of Participation 

Information on how to enter forms part of these Details of Participation and entry is deemed as acceptance of them. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest or redeem prizes.  

Entries will be open from 12:00 am on Thursday 13 July 2023 AEST and will close on Tuesday 31 October 2023 at 11:59 pm AEST. Entries not received by that time & date or not completed in accordance with the Details of Participation will not be eligible to win.  


One QLD Neighbourhood or Community Centre Heart Foundation Walking group will be randomly selected to receive Heart Foundation Walking t-shirts, personalised with their group name, for all members of the group.

All members of that group will receive HFW t-shirts valued at $26.50 each.  If any prize is unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to substitute another item for the prize, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.  All prize values are correct at the time of printing. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash unless otherwise indicated. 

Who can enter? 

Contest is open to any existing or new Heart Foundation Walking group established at a QLD Neighbourhood or Community Centre that registers at least 5 new Walkers during the contest period. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. 

How to enter 

Any new or existing Heart Foundation Walking group established at a QLD Neighbourhood or Community Centre that registers at least 5 new Walkers during the competition period will be entered automatically.

Prize Draw 

The odds of winning are based on the actual number of entries received. Neither the promoter nor any of their agencies are responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, incomplete or ineligible entries. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 

All prizes are guaranteed to be given away by random drawing from all methods of entry of this contest. The prize draw will take place at 2pm AEST on Thursday 2 November 2023 at 1 Abbotsford Road, Bowen Hills Qld 4006. If a prize is not claimed within 3 months of the draw date, a redraw will be conducted on Tuesday 6 February 2024 at the same time and location. 


Winners will be notified by phone or email where possible, and winner’s details will be published in the November edition of the QLD Neighbourhood & Community Centres members-only newsletter.

The Heart Foundation will not disclose your information to any third party for their marketing purposes.
