‘Put your foot down’ Challenge Terms & Conditions

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. You are providing your information to the National Heart Foundation of Australia ABN 98 008 419 761 (Heart Foundation) and not to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

By participating in this promotion, you agree to a complete release of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram from any claims. Participation in this promotion is subject to the Put your Foot Down Details of Participation as set out below.

Any entrant found to be creating multiple social media accounts (e.g. multiple Facebook, Instagram or Twitter accounts) in order to submit multiple entries will be immediately disqualified from participating in the competitions.

Details of Participation

Information provided on how to enter forms part of these Details of Participation and entry is deemed as acceptance of the terms and conditions as set out in this document and as updated from time to time.

No purchase is necessary to enter the contest or redeem prizes.

Contest commences on 1 November 2019 and entries close at 11:59pm AEDST on 10 December 2019.

Entries not received by that time & date or not completed in accordance with the Details of Participation will not be eligible to win.

Prizes

Major Prize: Hoot Holidays trip to Thailand for 2 adults, valued at $5,830, including:
− Return transfers between the airport and resort in Thailand
− 8 nights at Le Meridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa in a Deluxe Pool View room. Inclusions: Daily Breakfast - buffet breakfast 6.30 - 10.30 hrs, Daily Lunch - a la carte or set menu 12.00 - 14.30 hrs, Daily Dinner - a la carte, set menu or buffet 18.30 - 22.00 hrs.
− Mini bar and In-room dining are excluded.
− A la carte items with Δ sign incur a small surcharge
− Beverages – free flow of house wines, local beer, juice, soft drink, spirits, coffee or tea, local drinking water and selected cocktails
− Travel dates 1 April – 30 Nov 2020 (subject to availability). Travel must be completed by 30 Nov 2020
− Book by 31 July 2020
− The prize includes return economy flights departing from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth only, to the destination. It is the winner’s responsibility to arrange their own transportation and accommodation required to and from their home to their nearest departure airport.
− No additional spending money is provided.
− The prize is subject to flight and accommodation availabilities
− Non-peak (blackout) periods apply.
− The prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable.
− Winner is responsible for all health, visa and passport requirements for prizes involving international travel
− The winner is not able to earn loyalty scheme points on any aspect of the prize.
− Value of prize - $5,830

Minor Prizes: Ten Rebel Gift Cards valued at $250 each

Total prize pool is valued at $8,330.

If any prize is unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to substitute another item for the prize, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value. All prize values are correct at the time of printing. Prizes are not redeemable for cash unless otherwise indicated.

Who can enter

Contest is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older who have registered to participate in the Put your Foot Down challenge, through the Heart Foundation Walking App.

Employees of the Heart Foundation, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

How to enter

Heart Foundation Walking App users will automatically gain one entry to the prize draw for every 100,000 steps they take during the challenge period, as tracked through the Heart Foundation Walking app.

Multiple entries per person are permitted but are capped at five entries in total, via the Heart Foundation Walking App.

Entrants must provide true and correct information to the Heart Foundation, including but not limited to details of steps completed and must promptly notify the Heart Foundation of any inaccuracies in information they provide, or changes required to information they have provided.

The Heart Foundation reserves the right to audit all information provided by entrants and may, for the purposes of determining the eligibility of an entrant, refuse to accept or acknowledge information that the Heart Foundation suspects is inaccurate, incomplete or otherwise misleading.

Prize Draw/s

The odds of winning are based on the actual number of entries received.

Neither the Heart Foundation nor any of its agencies are responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, incomplete or ineligible entries.

The Heart Foundation’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

All prizes are guaranteed to be given away by random drawing. The Major Prize will be drawn first, followed by the ten minor prizes.

All prize draws and redraws will take place at Level 3, 80 William Street Woolloomooloo, New South Wales at 12.00pm AEDT on 18 December 2019.

If a prize is not claimed within 3 months of the draw date, a redraw will be conducted on 18 March 2020.

In the event a draw date falls on a non-business day, the draw will be conducted on the next business day.

Notification

Winners will be notified in writing if required by legislation, and by phone or email where possible, within two (2) days of the prize draw. The winners' names will be published at walking.heartfoundation.org.au on 18 December 2019.

Winners of redraws (if any) will be published at walking.heartfoundation.org.au on 18 March 2020. A list of prize winners may be obtained by visiting walking.heartfoundation.org.au.

By providing your information to us you agree that you have provided your indefinite consent to this contact.
