'10 out of 10’ step challenge

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. You are providing your information to the National Heart Foundation of Australia ABN 98 008 419 761 (Heart Foundation) and not to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. By participating in this promotion, you agree to a complete release of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram from any claims. Participation in this promotion is subject to the 10 out of 10 Details of Participation as set out below.

Any entrant found to be creating multiple social media accounts (e.g. multiple Facebook, Instagram or Twitter accounts) in order to submit multiple entries will be immediately disqualified from participating in the competitions.

Details of Participation

Information provided on how to enter forms part of these Details of Participation and entry is deemed as acceptance of the terms and conditions as set out in this document and as updated from time to time. 
No purchase is necessary to enter the contest or redeem prizes.
Contest commences on 22 July 2019 and entries close at 11:59pm AEST on 31 July 2019.
Entries not received by that time & date or not completed in accordance with the Details of Participation will not be eligible to win.

Prizes

Walking Challenge: All participants who achieve at least 100,000 steps throughout the challenge period will be automatically entered into the draw for the “Walking Prize”.
Walking Prize: A Fitbit Ionic Smart Fitness Watch valued between AUD$249.95 and $399.95.
If the Walking Prize is unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to substitute another item for the Walking Prize, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
All prize values are correct at the time of printing.
Prizes are not redeemable for cash unless otherwise indicated.

Sign up prizes: Three Prizes, each a $150 Rebel voucher. Prize pool is valued at $450.00. All participants who achieve an average of 4,000 steps per day throughout the challenge period will be automatically entered into the Prize draw to win one of the sign-up Prizes. 
If any Prize is unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to substitute another item for the Prize, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
All Prize values are correct at the time of printing.
Prizes are not redeemable for cash unless otherwise indicated.

Total Prize pool (including the Walking Prize) is valued at approximately $849.95 (depending on the cost of the Fitbit).

Who can enter

Contest is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older who register to participate in the ’10 out of 10’ challenge through the Heart Foundation Walking App.
Employees of the Heart Foundation, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. 

How to enter

Heart Foundation Walking App users will be entered in the Walking prize draw automatically upon reaching 100,000 steps between 22 July 2019 – 31 July 2019.
Heart Foundation Walking App users who achieve an average of 4,000 steps per day during the challenge period will be entered in the sign-up prize draw automatically at the conclusion of the challenge period.
Entrants must provide true and correct information to the Heart Foundation, including but not limited to details of steps completed and must promptly notify the Heart Foundation of any inaccuracies in information they provide, or changes required to information they have provided. 
The Heart Foundation reserves the right to audit all information provided by entrants and may, for the purposes of determining the eligibility of an entrant, refuse to accept or acknowledge information that the Heart Foundation suspects is inaccurate, incomplete or otherwise misleading.

Prize Draw/s

The odds of winning are based on the actual number of entries received.
Neither the Heart Foundation nor any of its agencies are responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, incomplete or ineligible entries.
The Heart Foundation’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
All prizes are guaranteed to be given away by random drawing. 
All prize draws and redraws will take place at Level 2, 850 Collins Street Melbourne, Victoria at 12.00 midday on the draw date.
In the event a draw date falls on a non-business day, the draw will be conducted on the next business day.
The prize draws will take place on Wednesday 7 August 2019.  
If a prize is not claimed within 3 months of the draw date, a redraw will be conducted on 15 November 2019. 

Notification

Winners will be notified in writing and if required by legislation by phone or email where possible, within two (2) days of the prize draw. The winners' names will be published at walking.heartfoundation.org.au on 9 August 2019. Winners of redraws (if any) will be published at walking.heartfoundation.org.au on 17 November 2019. A list of prize winners may be obtained by visiting walking.heartfoundation.org.au.

Your Personal Information is being or has been collected by the National Heart Foundation of Australia ABN 98 008 419 761 (Heart Foundation, we, us, our) to facilitate services requested by you and /or to keep you informed about Heart Foundation related activities. We may contact you in the future for the promotion of heart health messages and programs, research, fundraising purposes and invitations to events.  If you attend our events you may be photographed or filmed and images &/or audio may be used in various mediums to promote the Heart Foundation.   Please tell event staff if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed.  Personal details may be provided to third parties where required by law or for the purpose of facilitating services contracted by us, in so doing your personal information may be disclosed to overseas recipients.  Further information is available in our Privacy Notice or on request.  Communications from us may include mail, email, social media, SMS or telephone contact and may also include messages on behalf of event sponsors and other third parties. By providing your information to us you agree that you have provided your indefinite consent to this contact.  You may withdraw consent at any time though in doing so we may not be able to provide you with services requested. The Heart Foundation will not disclose your information to any third party for their marketing purposes.
