A Walk in the Park hosted by the Algester Walkers – June 13th – QLD

Brisbane walking groups are invited to join the Algester Walkers for a 60-70min walk (6km) from Calamvale District Park through to Lakewood Park and return (short cut options available).
Come and visit a different part of Brisbane and meet some other walkers for a social walk, talk and lunch afterwards.

Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park Walk – May 18th – NSW

Join us on a walk covering Red Hands, Koolewong and West Head Track in Ku-Ring-Gai National Park. Meet at Meet at Resolute Picnic Area, End of West Head Road for this 120 minute walk at an easy pace. These walks welcome walkers diagnosed with diabetes who have has physical activity approved by their GP or diabetes educators. Please bring wear closed soled shoes and bring medication or snacks if necessary.

Woodlands Historic Park Walk – June 15th – VIC

Meet at the Weeroona cemetery car park, Providence Rd for this 2 hour walk at an easy pace. Explore this fascinating relic of the landscape that European settlers saw in the 1840s.

Noojee Park Walk – May 25th – VIC

Surrounded by tall forest, follow the old railway line from Noojee to one of the only remaining historic timber trestle bridges in Victoria. Meet at the old railway station Noojee, just past the Noojee Hotel if coming from Melbourne. This walk will be 120-150 minutes at and easy to moderate pace.

Point Loop at Muogamarra Nature Reserve – June 22nd – NSW

Meet at Pie in the Sky Pie Shop, 3.5km North of Cowan Station on Old Pacific Highway for this 120 minute, easy-paced walk. These walks welcome walkers diagnosed with diabetes who have has physical activity approved by their GP or diabetes educators. Please bring wear closed soled shoes and bring medication or snacks if necessary.
